Circadian needs a lead engineer to ensure scalability, reliability and security are embedded into the product early, in addition to helping advance Quill’s current functionality.
Quill works today, but it's a prototype. Your job will be to re-tool the back-end/database so that the service stays fast, cheap and reliable as we add users.
Ideally you will have some leadership experience within a tech start-up and can express yourself fluidly – we’re going to have to explain to people why they want to invest in us.
Apply if you are an experienced engineer who is now interested in building a scalable business.
What we’re looking for
Knowledge of cloud computing (ideally AWS), scaling and database handling;
Understanding of data-science, with emphasis on machine-learning approaches (ideally using Python, but not critical: whatever gets the job done);
Experience with Behavioural Biometrics (ideally) or Identity / Authentication;
Cybersecurity experience, particularly as it applies to personal data;
Familiarity with SaaS business models.
